I am starting on another Boler Project this time for Louise
Her Boler named “Button” 🙂 needs some TLC. but to first a new frame for a good foundation.
Here are a few pictures of the progress and the process I go through.
Check Out my Instagram @rturnerwelding for more on this and other projects
- Louise Brought her 1974 Boler named Button in to be checked out
- Over all Buttons Boler body is in ok shape
- She and her friend Ross spent a lot of time polishing the old Gel Coat. It Looks Good
- Have Button the Boler up on the hoist to asses the frame and under floor
- Skirt Needs some luv
- I will take care of this before the frame is installed permanently
- Here Like most Bolers The frame is Cracked and has been patched
- The original bolts werent even tight
- Scary
- This is why you use Lock nuts or thread locker
- Time to drop the old Boler Frame
- Button is Frameless
- The floor is Fiberglass which is a plus but it needs some repair
- Button the Boler floor will need to be repaired
- this is why it was so bouncy 🙂
- Only hole that was not cracked
- Boler Frame on the ground
- Louise decided to go a head with a new Frame & Axel
- lowering the body onto the roller frame
- now I can roll it out of the way
